Club President Chuck Willing recently presented Jennifer Lombardo, Director of The Friendly Kitchen of Concord with a check for $5,000 as appropriated by the Board of the Directors on behalf of Rotary Club of Concord.  In addition,
the Community Support Committee (“CSC”) has the privilege of awarding funds to deserving local causes that benefit those in need: the poor, the disadvantaged, the handicapped, the elderly, the young.  Here are a few of the recipients to whom the CSC has awarded funds this year:

NH Children’s Trust (purchase of “Period of Purple Crying” diaper bag tags for new parents at Concord Hospital)

Granite State Reading Council (to purchase books for the annual Granite State Family Reading Literacy Day)
Concord Robotics (to support the STEM education of the Concord High School Robotics team)
Rise Again Outreach (to purchase personal care items for our local homeless population)
